QSR Academic Resource Center Office Assistant

Clinton, NY Clinton, NY Hamilton's Academic Resource Centers provide individualized peer tutoring programs to support the academic work of all students on campus.
The office assistant will work closely with the Center Director to manage the daily operations of the Center and provide administrative support.
This position reports to one supervisor.
This is a part-time, benefited position with a 90% schedule (1,638 hours) over the academic year (August-June).
The Office Assistant will work 35 hours/week on a regular schedule.
Responsibilities:
Manage tutoring and front desk staff appointment schedule, scheduling software (TutorTrac), and email accounts Train, supervise, and regularly assess front desk student staff Compile TutorTrac data related to Center use Complete payroll and HR communications for student staff Coordinate planning of workshops and other events (e.
g.
reserving space, catering) Assist in hiring student workers annually Maintain and regularly update Center website (training provided) Qualifications Associate's degree required, along with 2-3 years of administrative assistant and supervisory experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Google suite.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a variety of audiences Ability to collaborate effectively but also to work independently Ability and willingness to learn and use new tech platforms.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
